Rob Zombie, the Lord of Salem, Disney, the Lord of Lucas

Nach seiner persönlichen "Halloween"-Version versucht sich Rob Zombie ("House of 1000 Corpses", "The Devil's Rejects", "Halloween") an einem eigenen Projekt, bei dem er seiner Kreativität freien Lauf lassen durfte. Dabei herausgekommen ist "The Lords of Salem", in dem die Stadt Salem von einem Hexen-Konvent heimgesucht wird. Darsteller sind Meg Foster ("The Scarlet Letter", "The Osterman Weekend", "They Live"), Jeff Daniel Phillips, "Dawn of the Dead"-Veteran Ken Foree ("From Beyond", "The Dentist", das "Dawn of the Dead"-Remake), Dee Wallace ("The Hills Have Eyes", "The Howling", "E.T.") und natürlich Rob Zombies Habitués Sheri Moon Zombie ("House of 1000 Corpses", "Toolbox Murders", "Werewolf Women of the SS") und Sid Haig ("THX 1138", "House of 1000 Corpses", "Halloween").

Und das ist euch noch nicht gar fürchterrrrlich genug? Dann gibt es die gruseligste Meldung zum Schluss: Disney hat Lucasfilm gekauft... und hat "Star Wars Episode 7" (und 8... und 9...) angekündigt... und George Lucas ist nur noch als "Creative Consultant" dabei... oh, oh, oh, oh.
